Welcome to East Bay Paratransit
East Bay Paratransit is a public transit service for people who are unable to use regular buses or trains, like those operated by AC Transit and BART, because of a disability or a health-related condition. East Bay Paratransit transports riders from their origin to their destination in vans equipped with a wheelchair lift. East Bay Paratransit was established by AC Transit and BART to meet requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The East Bay Paratransit Contactless Payment App is out now!
Welcome to the new East Bay Paratransit (EBP) Contactless Payment App for iPhone and Android. It’s the easiest way to pay for your trips in advance and eliminates the need for paper tickets or cash. The EBP App offers helpful features for the riders and their families to see upcoming trips and choose which trips to pay for.
Effective December 14, 2023 clients who use the East Bay Paratransit Contactless Payment App can now use checks or cash to fund their purchases. Clients wanting to use check or cash to fund their purchases can come down to the East Bay Paratransit office, where they will load your funds into your app. Contact East Bay Paratransit for more information.
