How much does it cost?

When you make a reservation for a trip on East Bay Paratransit, you will be told the fare for your trip. You must pay your fare before or as soon as you board the vehicle. You may pay in cash, with tickets, or through the Contactless Payment App. If you are paying with cash, please bring exact change because the drivers cannot make change.

Tickets are available in $4.00 or $1.00 denominations and come in books of ten.

How do I Buy a Ticket?

East Bay Paratransit sells fare tickets at our main offices. You may either purchase them in-person, or you may order them by mail. In addition, there are some other locations where you can purchase fare tickets in person. These locations DO NOT accept mail orders. Click here to obtain the list.

If you want to come to the East Bay Paratransit office for your ticket purchase, the address is 1750 Broadway Oakland, CA 94612. Office hours for in-person ticket sales are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

If you want to order by mail, you must complete a ticket order form. Click here to download a copy, or call East Bay Paratransit at (510) 287-5000, if you want the order form mailed to you. Make sure the order form is complete and that you have enclosed a check for the correct amount. An incorrect payment amount or a form that is incomplete or unclear may cause delays in processing your order.

Orders greater than $90 will be sent via certified US mail w/ return receipt.
Orders greater than $400 cannot be sent by US mail but must be picked up in person at 1750 Broadway, Oakland.
